Freezies are a great summer treat for anyone. Ok, these are technically popsicles, but that doesn’t rhyme as well. They are especially great for teething babies because the cold soothes their sore gums. They’re also super easy to make.
Store bought popsicles and freezies often contain added sweeteners, dyes and preservatives that you want to avoid giving to your baby. Making your own is a great alternative because you can control exactly what goes into them.
What you’ll need:
- Popsicle molds
- Fruit
- Lemon
- A measuring cup or other vessel
Start by cutting up some of your baby’s favorite fruit.
Mix the chopped fruit into some water and add a splash of lemon juice.
Pour the mixture into the popsicle molds.
Freeze for around six hours.
Running the mold under hot water for a little bit will make it easier to pull out the freezy.
Now, enjoy!
